President's Message

Thursday December 6 is our last meeting of 2007. Please don’t forget "our kids" and bring an unwrapped toy to our meeting, the children less fortunate appreciate it. Toys will also be collected at our Children’s Christmas Party on December 9th. I encourage you to fill out the application if you and your children are attending the children’s party, and get it to Mike Villa (ASAP). Mike has put together an entertaining party for all, and Santa has agreed to attend.

Congratulations to Tom Muratore, Vice President Suffolk County PBA on his recent retirement, we wish him well.

Don't forget to contact Rich Rottkamp if you are interested in attending a NFL Championship games party, January 20th. Your interest or lack of will determine this events fate.

Plan ahead, put Friday April 25 on your calendar, it’s the date of our Dinner/Dance, run in conjunction with FOP Lodge 317 to benefit worthy causes.

As 2007 draws to a close, I wish to THANK our members for your continuous support. You are the Long Island Shields.

Keep in your prayers members of our military and their families, who will spend this holy season without their loved ones.
